Our View, etc.

Since John and I have never lived in a big city, we were a little worried about feeling separated from nature. We both really enjoy trees and being able to feel like there is some nature around us. Well - we should not have worried. These are pictures of the view out of three different windows in our apartment, and it's as green as it can be. In fact, we might forget we were in the city alltogether if it weren't for the daytime construction noises and traffic.

Luckily, we have discovered a powdered drink mix that is inexpensive and yummy. I daresay everyone who reads this blog will find it familiar: Tang. I have never been a fan of Tang in the USA, but I think that's because it doesn't taste good. Here, Tang is not a pastey pseudo-orange flavored drink, but more like tropical kool-aid. They have all sorts of flavors. We really like the pineapple so far, but we also decided to try mango, kiwi-strawberry, and guava. We'll keep you updated.

Wow, I love seeing all the pictures and hearing the daily news. I sure hope that you are feeling better Claire. See there are things worse than a teacher in service!!!!!
